What is this website offering?

Every weekday, we will upload a printable PDF score of a brand new piano piece, together with a demonstration video. All abilities, from beginner to intermediate, will be catered for. As the archive grows, you will be able to search for music that matches your ability. Use pieces below your ability level as Sight Reading practice. We hope you enjoy following our journey from the beginning, as we start from nowhere and grow into what we hope will be the most useful, free online piano music resource in the world!

Why is this website unique?

There are many sites claiming to offer free printable piano music. In reality, most are offering a few free samples, but the majority of the content is not free at all. Sadly, the music is usually of poor quality, and not appropriate for the ability it claims to be aimed at.
Here at Piano Tunes you will never be asked to subscribe, sign up, or pay for anything.

Why are we doing this?

Over the course of more than 20 years teaching piano, from beginners to conservatoire level, I have constantly been searching for piano music that matches the ability of my students. Often it is necessary to buy very expensive books, but the student will progress through these books and outgrow the content, and thus the search begins again. Imagine a website offering free PDF piano music, correctly matched to a player’s ability by an experienced piano teacher, with music composed by that same teacher who just happens to also be an award-winning composer? Well, lucky you, here I am! If only a resource like this had been available when I first started teaching!

What do I get out of it?

Well, what goes around comes around. If people are kind enough to spread the word about this site, my name will perhaps become better known. I’ve never been very good at self-promotion. Hopefully my music will do that for me! We’ll see. The important thing is that I will get huge satisfaction from knowing that I am helping people in a small way.
