This lovely little tune has a gentle, lullaby quality. The final line has some challenges for the left hand, especially the last note, which is to be played by allowing the thumb to gently slip off the B flat onto the A, but without a ‘clunk’. This technique comes into play with more advanced music, such as Bach fugues.
