My friend Jo commissioned this piece for her sister, who sadly passed away on 21st March 2020 with cancer. Jo’s commission fee has gone straight to Cancer Research UK. Although I only met Karen a few times when she was a teenager, I know that she remained incredibly brave and positive during her illness, hence the title.
