I wasn’t so sure about this when I first heard it, but now having played it a few times I’m really enjoying it. Another addition to my Piano Tunes Song book and daily repertoire.
Yes it’s unusual, but to be honest you have to give the birds the credit..or not! It’s a good one for working on a nice, strong downward movement of the wrist at the start of the short phrases, then a gentle lift of the wrist at the end of a phrase.
